Each IM=X Pilates Studio has certified instructors and personal trainers who have gone through the IM=X Pilates and Fitness Certifications. Our Master Trainers are available to ensure that you are achieving your goals. Whether you need to lose weight, reduce back pain, improve performance, reduce age-related incontinence or just feel strong, our trainers are available to help.

Anita Naegeli, IM=X® Master Trainer

Anita Anita Naegeli is an IM=X® certified Master Trainer. She has accomplished Master Trainer status for the following courses: IM=X® Pilates BASIC, ADVANCED, SUPER ADVANCED, YOGA, BALLET BAR, Heart Rate Training, TOWER, and REVIEW CERTIFICATIONS. In addition to conducting certification courses for IM=X Pilates, she also teaches classes and private clients at the company-owned studio in New York City. Anita guides and supports the franchise owners and their staff through the educational process by providing review courses, grading Practical Exams and providing structured feedback on program clarity and improving the quality of service. Anita has studied modern dance and ballet since childhood and holds a BFA in Musical Theater as well as a degree in Elementary School Education. She is also a NASM certified personal trainer.

Lauren Humm Fakete, IM=X® Super Advanced Trainer

m Fakete is an IM=X® Super Advanced certified and N.A.S.M. certified Personal Trainer.  She began practicing pilates in 2004 when she endured a foot injury while training with the Wilmington Ballet Company. She acquired an interest in kinesiology while at George Mason University where she graduated cum laude with two degrees in Dance and Political Theory and Law. During her time in the Dance Department, she danced and choreographed for the company, as well as teaching fitness dance, hip hop, ballet and pointe. She entered the fitness industry as a personal trainer in 2006. In 2008, she moved to New York to continue dancing, teaching and training. There, she fell in love with IM=X® and received BASIC and SUPER ADVANCED certifications. She currently teaches Semi-Private classes at the New York City studio as well as assisting with the IM=X marketing program developed by founder and CEO Elyse McNergney.

Renee Raiche, IM=X® Master Trainer

Renee Raiche began studying pilates with Elyse McNergney at IM=X® Pilates, Inc. in 2001. Under her tutelage, Renee was certified in the IM=X® Pilates technique and became a Master Trainer for the program in 2003 in order to certify instructors and personal trainers in the northeast. She has represented the company all over the New York metropolitan area and nationally. Renee is passionate about teaching the IM=X® programs as she feels they are the perfect synthesis of rehabilitation, strength training and choreographed movement. She has accomplished Master Trainer status for the following courses: IM=X® Pilates BASIC, ADVANCED, SUPER ADVANCED, BALLET BAR, TOWER and IM=X® CYCLE/TOWER CERTIFICATIONS. Renee originally moved to New York City in 1994 to study Jazz Dance exclusively with the legendary Luigi. Her talent as a dancer earned her a full scholarship to the Luigi Jazz Center where she has been studying and teaching for sixteen years. Renee currently performs choreography and has a documentary on Luigi’s life in development. Renee is also a competitive runner participating in many races including the NYC Marathons of 2008 and 2009.

Alison Krauss, IM=X® Advanced Trainer

Alison Alison Krauss moved to New York City from Milford, Delaware in 2003 to attend college and pursue a career in Musical Theatre. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Alison has been dancing and performing since youth. When she is off-stage, she teaches and assists Theatre Dance classes at the Alvin Ailey Extension Program in NYC as well as Super Stretch and Body Conditioning classes for the donation-based dance organization, Liberated Movement®. She is very excited to add IM=X Pilates into her teaching repertoire! IM=X is yet another way for Alison to share her love of movement and "Xercize" with others and she is happy to impart all the knowledge she gains along the way. You can join her for Semi-Private and Private classes at the New York City studio.

Elyse McNergney, Creator of IM=X®

Elyse Elyse McNergney is the founder and CEO of IM=X® Pilates (est.1996) and The Xercize Studio, LLC (est. 2004) which is a franchise chain of 27 locations. Ms. McNergney is an Exercise Physiologist whose educational background includes a M.Ed. in Exercise Physiology from Columbia University and a M.A. in Movement Sciences from New York University. Ms. McNergney also holds certifications in the Pilates Method (The Pilates Studio, Sean Gallagher and Romana Kryzanowska) and the Alexander Technique. She is the creator of the IM=X programs and certifications – of which there are over 100 workout variations and ten courses. Ms. McNergney produced the IM=X® Pilates DVD series and is the author of Pilates for Men. In addition, she has established the IM=X® Pilates franchise marketing program, patented equipment manufacturing, products, and business systems. Ms. McNergney has guest lectured at the World Fitness IDEA Conference, the IDEA Mind/Body Conference, the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Conference on Alternative Medicine and other hospitals across the United States
